Question: We are debating between hawaii and miami/keywest. what is a better place to vacation and why?

We have this plan of either visiting Miami or visiting Hawaii. I got recommendation for visiting Hawaii but no body could explain why Hawaii? Any comparisons here from people who have been to both places?

I say Hawaii. I've been to both places, and I feel Hawaii was much better! You can do the same things in both places, but when I was in Florida, it was burning hot. I was also very crowded, full of old people. It was pretty and I liked the trip, but Hawaii was worth it. The weather in Hawaii was awesome, there are alot of people in Honolulu, but everyone is sooooo nice, even strangers! And the beachs are just breathtaking. I went on a boat ride and dolphins jumps around the boat at the front. I was there with my friends, and they said when they were at the beach, a wild sea turtle came within feet of them. Hawaii is a very fun and different experiance. And the view from the plane is also amazing :P Just thought I'd add that

It really depends on what you want to do. If you're into surfing, paddling and a fairly active holiday the Hawaii is the place for you. If you want to sit around a pool and drink, then Miami/ Key West will feel comfortable.

It really depends on how long it takes to get there. I would think more time on vacation would be the best!! I say goto hawaii first trip is always the best . Miami is cheap and inexpensive and can be done all the time. I love miami but - Hawaii is a once in a lifetime kind of trip..

I've been to both and Hawaii is my choice.
