Go to CruiseCritic.com and click on "Boards " then go to "Ports of Call " to find info from experienced cruisers on your ports of call. Key West and Coz are both easy and safe to do on your own, as long as you remember to leave enough time to get back to the ship about one hour before sailing. They won't wait for you if you're late. In Coz, I would suggest that you go to Chankanaab Park or one of the beach clubs south of town. It's easy to get a cab there and back. But you've already got a plan, so.... As the other person said, you won't really have three hours. Unless you're docked at the "downtown " pier, you'll have to get to town if you want to shop there and get back to the ship in plenty of time. You can bargain with the vendors. Be prepared for the "hounding " by the vendors, though. If you look the slightest bit interested, and even if you don't, they'll be right on you to buy. In Key West it's fun to just walk around. Do a search on "Key West tourism " and you'll get lots of leads. |
